After School Program

The school provides after school tutoring and classes for students in grades K-12. These classes and tutoring sessions have helped our students to advance their academic skills. This program is provided Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Subjects of study include: math, science, English, and social studies. The center serves between 20-30 students per day. Our staff includes current school teachers, retired teachers, graduate students, and community volunteers. Transportation is provided by parents. Each student receives at least one hour of instruction time.

Youth Mentorship

Students have a 30-60 minute computer time. Students learn how to use computers and  have the opportunity to do school projects and research in the computer lab.

Recreation program

The School provides a weekly recreation program, such as basketball, soccer, and swimming. The school provided programs in partnership with the YWCA and the Minneapolis Publics Schools for a sucessful season.


The school offered parenting classes for immigrant parents in collaboration with community organizations for several success classes.
